The alleged victim in a Brize Norton murder probe was described as ‘unique, kind, loyal and irreplaceable’.

Tyron Jonsyn, 28, died at a house in Lock Court, on the Brize Meadow new-build estate on Monday last week (January 16).

Police officers were called to the cul-de-sac at around 10.30pm by the ambulance service following reports of a disturbance at the detached red brick property.

In a tribute released by Thames Valley Police, members of Mr Jonsyn’s family said: “Tyron brought joy, kindness and endless love to our family.

“He was a bright light that lit up our lives.

“Tyron was unique, kind, loyal and irreplaceable. He has left his many friends and family so many special memories that we shall treasure.

“We will miss him forever.”

A post-mortem conducted by a Home Office pathologist last Friday was unable to conclusively establish the cause of Mr Jonsyn’s death.

Two men, aged 44 and 28, from Carterton and Milton Keynes respectively, were arrested on suspicion of murder last week – but have since been released on police bail.

The Carterton man had been arrested in Abertillery, South Wales, by officers from Gwent Police. The younger of the two suspects was arrested in South Leigh, Oxfordshire.

Last week, senior investigating officer DCI Jon Capps said: “We are treating the incident as a murder inquiry due to the reports of a disturbance at the property late [on Monday] evening, together with witness accounts to date.

“Although we believe that this incident occurred inside a property, I would appeal to anybody who feels that they have any information that can assist this investigation to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.”

Anyone with information was asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
