With Valentine’s Day ahead, we asked club members to show us what they loved.

There were striking photos of pets, loved ones, street scenes and local wildlife but Sash Horne’s shot of swans gliding together to form a perfect heart shape with their necks stood out. It’s our camera club photo of the week.

Ms Horne said: “I just got lucky with the timing!”

Each week camera club members are given a different theme and then post their pictures on the club’s Facebook page.

A selection of photos are then featured in the Oxford Mail and online. One image is selected as photo of the week and this is nearly always related to the chosen theme. For more about the camera club and how it works visit the club’s Facebook page. The next theme is transport.
