Cole Palmer has handed Chelsea and England a boost by training on Monday.
Palmer missed England’s 1-0 defeat by Brazil at Wembley on Saturday night but was part of the squad that trained at Tottenham ahead of Tuesday’s next friendly against Belgium.
His return to fitness is good news for Chelsea, who face Burnley on Saturday when the Premier League returns after the international break.
Palmer was not available for the Brazil game due to a minor injury but he is in line to win his third England cap against Belgium at Wembley.
Jude Bellingham also trained with England on Monday after struggling with cramp against Brazil.
Ajax midfielder Jordan Henderson took part in the session too after missing the Brazil defeat with a knock.
Gareth Southgate is facing an awkward juggling act after yet more injury drop-outs hit his plans for the friendly against Belgium.
The game is England’s last before Southgate names his Euro 2024 squad, but with the manager also under pressure to manage the workload of some of his star names, the Three Lions appear likely to name a heavily rotated team.
Kyle Walker, Sam Johnstone and Harry Maguire on Sunday became the latest players to pull out of the England squad, with Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka having already left the camp last week.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luke Shaw, Kieran Trippier, Reece James and Jack Grealish are all already missing through injury.
Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford and Manchester City defender Rico Lewis have been called in from the Under-21s as cover, while Southgate could be forced to start the likes of John Stones and Declan Rice again, despite Sunday’s looming Premier League title clash between Manchester City and Arsenal.
